Fastcase Resources for Hurricane Sandy

Many lawyers on the East Coast have had their lives and practices disrupted by Hurricane Sandy.  As of Friday, Nov. 2, many are still without power, with significant curfews and travel restrictions.

During this time, we’re making Fastcase legal research available for free to lawyers affected by the storm.  Members of the New Jersey State Bar Association have free access to Fastcase through the state bar website, www.njsba.com.  If you’re not a member, or if you have trouble accessing Fastcase through the NJSBA website, you can contact us directly for free temporary access.

To set up an emergency account, call us toll free at 1-866-77-FASTCASE (866.773.2782), or send us a request at support-at-fastcase.com.  You can also sign up any time at www.fastcase.com for a 24-hour free trial.

With firm intranets and IP-based legal research access disrupted, we’ll be happy to help people get access to legal research resources during this time.  There are obviously many larger needs in the wake of a hurricane, but this is at least one small way that we can help people while they get their firms and practices back up and running.
