Trying a new interface can be confusing. The colors and fonts are different, nothing is where it used to be, and sometimes old features have new names. Not to mention the new features, which look interesting, but you have no idea how to use them yet.
Don’t give up. Fastcase 7 is more intuitive and operates more in line with the way you think when you are on the hunt for legal research. Fastcase 7 comes with a guided tour that will automatically launch the first time you use the toggle to access Fastcase 7.
To view the guided tour, simply click on start. If you are in a hurry and don’t want to view the guided tour immediately, simply click on cancel. Don’t worry, the prompt for the tour will still automatically load the next time you login. The guided tour is self-paced, so don’t worry about taking extra time to read each pop-up and to learn about each feature. Simply click “next” when you are ready to move to the next pop-up.
Missed something? You can go back at any time by clicking “back.”
Want to stop the guided tour? Simply click on the “x” in the corner of the pop-up. If you do not want to see the guided tour prompt each time you login, click on the “Don’t show me this again” check box.
Want to see the guided tour at a later date? You can start the guided tour anytime by clicking on “Guided Tour” from the Help & Support tile on the start page.
