Quality Assurance Specialist


Fastcase is looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to develop and execute manual and autonomous tests to ensure product quality. Our quality assurance team works closely with our product team, as well as software engineers, to help design legal solutions services that our customers love.

This role plays an integral part in Fastcase’s product development process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring various stages of software development, in addition to conducting tests before product/feature launches to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets client needs.



  • Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
    • Able to create additional technical documentation as needed.
    • Create detailed and comprehensive test plans within release schedules.
    • Thoroughly identify, record, document, and track bugs.
    • Work closely with product, marketing, and sales teams to prioritize bugs.
    • Monitor debugging process results.
    • Stay up-to-date with new test strategies.



  • BA/BS required; JD or experience in legal industry preferred.
    • D.C. location preferred.
    • Technical familiarity preferred (i.e., with Python, Javascript, HTML, XML, JSON).
    • Technical writing skills required.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
